Pledge

At SKIBROA, we donate a minimum of 3% of our revenue to initiatives that are dedicated to promoting a more environmentally-friendly planet. We are aligned with other companies, NGO’s and private individuals in our commitment to achieving positive financial results for our own organization while at the same time lending our support to others. In this way, we hope to be truly sustainable.

We believe that we need to give our support on both a local and international level. To this end, we are currently working with three different organizations who are equally inspiring in their endeavours to bring about positive change for the environment.

Summit Foundation in Vevey has been active for many years in the Alps. Their mission is to reduce human impact in places of high traffic, with a specific focus on the mountains. They do this through education, providing concrete solutions and organizing waste collection operations, such as the annual cleanuptour.ch

POW (Protect our Winters) was founded in the USA by snowboarder Jeremy Jones with the intention to unite and mobilize the snow-sports community to fight against climate change. The organization has since grown into a worldwide network.

The Swiss Association Aquaverde was created in 2002 to support the indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest in their efforts to protect what remains of the primary forest. Aquaverde is also responsible for programs that power the planting of more trees.

We are also on the lookout for a project to support in the Valais Alps.
